This position is responsible for performing and facilitating the accounting process and objectives of the bank.
Reconciliation, maintenance of General Ledger (G/L) records, expense allocation, and financial analysis
Prepares journal entries and posting, performs reconciliation of General Ledger (G/L) accounts and accrual schedules
Financial and regulatory reporting
Assists in month-end close and year end audits
Research and special assignments
Variance analysis
Monitors loan charge-off
Responsible for Fixed Assets
Monitors/certifies loans & deposits
Incumbent must comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, Bank Policies and Procedures and Code of Conduct, and complete all Bank’s regulatory training.
Education
Requirement:
University Degree Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
Proficiency in using Accounting and Excel spreadsheet.
Ability to research and resolve discrepancies.
Must be proactive.
Possess the ability to meet constant deadlines and work with multiple projects.
Possess strong ability to multi-task.
Ability to work long hours and be detail-oriented, well-organized and produce high-quality work.
Ability to plan, organize and monitor activities according to priories.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated personal computer proficiency with spreadsheet (MS Excel) and word processing (MS Word) applications is required.
