Accounts
are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
(FDIC), an agency of the U.S. government. The safety of the funds you
deposit are guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States
of America. FDIC insurance applies to all the accounts we offer regardless of citizenship
or residency, including time deposit accounts, money market accounts,
retirement accounts, as well as savings and checking accounts.
On October 3, 2008, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2009.
FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program:
To solidify our position as one of the strongest and most secure banks in the community, Far East National Bank is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program.
Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.
Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
Stay protected at Far East National Bank.
